Shubho Saptami!
As Durga Puja is finally here, Kolkata- City of Joy, has exploded with more than thousand thematic & colourful pandals. Even the darkest corners are now glowing up with sparkling lights. Months of hard work & creativity by Bengal’s rural artisans who literally ‘Live For Puja’ can now be seen as a result of stunning Durga Puja pandals. And that calls for dressing-up & pandal-hopping with friends and families and witnessing the exceptional creativity all around.
Choosing a perfect outfit for pandal-hopping has always been a difficult situation for most of us. We want something that is super comfortable yet stylish enough to grab attention in a crowd. To solve the dilemma, I have come up with both ethnic and western wear looks that you can wear while going for pandal-hopping.
In the last post, I showed you all a comfortable and regal ethnic look with MAX PUJO COLLECTION. Check out the post here (Durga Puja-The Ethnic Way) if you haven’t already.
Today I am here with another look ft. Sassy Stripes, which is on the western side. Sassy Stripes has an amazing western wear range. The collection has basic styles with an upgraded factor. Their outfits are sure to grab attention and make you stand out in a crowd yet being super comfortable to hop from one pandal to another.
I went for pandal hopping on the day of Panchmi and Sashti in outfits from Sassy Stripes.
The first one is a striped shirt dress with a tie-at-waist detail that is so in rage these days. I teamed up a blue wayfarer shades from Crochita with my outfit.
The second one is a plaid dress with tie-up details at both the sides to create a more cinched in waistline.
Have a look at the pictures! xx

DURGA PUJA PANDAL DECOR
I was awestruck by the beauty and conceptualization of each pandals. Each pandal has been built with such an artistic taste, that one cannot stop admiring their beauty.
Deshopriya Park- In Deshopriya Park, ‘Wat Rong Khun’, Thailand’s white temple has been recreated. It is truly a vision to behold.

95 Pally Jodhpur Park- The 95 Pally Jodhpur Park pandal ought to be my favourite pandal. The goddess here seems to be kept in bars which signifies the way a women is kept captive, besides having all the power within her.
