Today’s outfit post is one of my favourite as it’s about my current favourite trend: Statement Sleeves. Statement sleeves are such a big hit this season, from being on a basic tee to a party dress, it can instantly up your outfit game. A sleeve that is perfectly cut and tailored adds a different level of drama to any outfit. Perhaps this is the reason that this part of a garment has become an area of experimentation for designers of late.

And there are so many options when it comes to statement sleeves- billowy to bell shaped, ruffled to extra long. The more fun you have with the sleeves, the more playful your look can be.

I have been lately wishing for that perfect statement sleeve outfit and this blue dress from Sassy Stripes is just so beautiful!
